Mr Elengovan is a Barrister and a member of The Honourable Middle Temple Inns of Court. He is also an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Over 31 Years of Experience Mr Elengovan graduated from University of Hull with a Second Class Uppers Degree in 1992 and was called to the Middle Temple Inns in 1993 as a Barrister. In May 1994 he was called to the Bar in Singapore and started his career in law. He had acted in numerous Criminal and Civil cases and had appeared before both the Criminal Court of Appeal and Civil Court of Appeal since 1993. He was involved in the first case in Singapore which attempted to reopen a concluded criminal case in the Criminal Court of Appeal in 1993.

Mr Elengovan is a member of the Supreme Court LEGAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME FOR CAPITAL OFFENCES (LASCO). He is a Notary Public and a Commissioner for Oath.

An expert in Civil and Criminal Cases. One of the first Attorney to attempt an application to the Court of Criminal Appeal to reopen a concluded criminal case.
